Suryakumar Yadav Buys Luxury Dubai Home Near Shah Rukh Khan-Linked Project
India's T20 World Cup-winning captain Suryakumar Yadav has bought a luxury home in Dubai from Danube Properties. His Instagram reveal highlights the property's premium amenities and proximity to Shah Rukh Khan-linked Shahrukhz Residence.
Suryakumar bought the property from Danube Properties. He said his visits to Dubai over the years had made him fond of the city, particularly its lifestyle, living standards and security.
“I first came here in 2014, and we returned in 2020. People from India are looking towards Dubai; the luxury and the standard of living here are distinct. While there is safety where I live in Mumbai, Dubai is also excellent in terms of security. Coming here brings me great comfort and happiness,” Suryakumar said.
Explaining what attracted him to the development, Suryakumar highlighted its facilities, particularly an amenity he described as unusual for residential projects.
“The 40+ premium amenities are impressive, but what won me over is the Longevity Lounge! Something unheard in residential projects,” he wrote on Instagram.
The property has attracted attention because of its reported proximity to Shahrukhz Residence, a luxury project being developed by Danube Group in Dubai Maritime City and named after Shah Rukh Khan. However, the price of Suryakumar's new home has not been disclosed.
Meanwhile, Suryakumar has also been in the news after missing out on Mumbai's Ranji Trophy squad. His continued absence from the team's pre-season training camp was cited as the reason for his exclusion, a Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) source told PTI on Tuesday.
The batter had made himself available for domestic cricket but reportedly did not attend the training sessions before the squad was announced. Mumbai's red-ball players had been training for a month, with sessions continuing on Tuesday at the Cricket Club of India and the MCA's BKC Ground.
Suryakumar has been away from professional cricket since IPL 2026, although he recently played in a local T20 tournament in Mumbai. He will be hoping to return to regular competitive action and work his way back into the national side.
His Dubai property purchase comes as attention remains on both his real estate investment and his absence from Mumbai's Ranji Trophy squad, with the price of the new home still undisclosed.
